Record Turnout at Genting’s Poker Dream Tournament

Poker Dream, Malaysia’s first-ever poker tournament hosted at Genting, has garnered an impressive turnout, with the prize pool smashing the guaranteed amount by x5 in many events.

The record turnout clearly shows Malaysaians’ appetite for poker, particularly No Limit Hold’em. There are still several days left until the Main Event kicks off. RM5,000 buy-in with a guaranteed prize pool of RM1,000,000. We have a sneaky feeling that the guaranteed prize pool will completely be obliterated. 

Big-name poker players were seen in the warm-up events: Michael Soyza, Webster Lim, Ivan Leow and Wai Kit Yong, to name a few.
